Overview

QuoteDesk Pro is an insurance workflow application for authorized agencies, agents, and their teams. QDP processes information users provide or connect in the application, including client records, quote and proposal details, tasks, calendar events, communication records, and connected mailbox data.

Google OAuth and Gmail Data

QDP connects to Gmail only when a user explicitly authorizes access through Google OAuth. QDP does not request or store a user's Google password. Gmail access is used to provide user-requested mailbox features, including loading inbox threads, opening and reading selected email threads, and sending Gmail messages that the user composes in QDP.

QDP requests Gmail and Google identity permissions needed for these features, including basic identity information, Gmail read access, and Gmail send access. OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted before they are stored. QDP uses signed OAuth state to bind a provider callback to the QDP user, user profile, and organization that started the connection.

Users can disconnect a connected mailbox in QDP. Disconnecting marks the mailbox as disconnected and removes the locally stored encrypted access and refresh tokens for that mailbox. Users may also revoke QDP's access from their Google Account.

How Information Is Used

QDP uses connected mailbox data to provide the email features requested by the authorized user and to maintain related workspace records. When a user associates an outbound message with a client record, QDP may record communication activity for that client in the workspace. QDP does not use Google user data for advertising.

Sharing

QDP does not sell Google user data. QDP uses connected provider APIs to perform the actions requested by the authorized user, such as reading selected mailbox content or sending a composed email. Workspace information may be available to authorized users in the same organization according to their QDP permissions.

Google API Services User Data Policy

QDP's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Security

QDP uses authenticated application access controls for workspace data and encrypts stored mailbox OAuth tokens. QDP does not log Google access tokens, refresh tokens, or OAuth client secrets. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and users should promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
